Internet Marketing, An Art or A Science? Most all of us with an internet marketing business have the same tools, use the same searching technique, and the same advertising methods. Yet, why then do some business succeed and others do not? Is it because they think of it as an art or a science? For over thirty years, marketers have debated whether marketing is a science or an art. Most have come to a conclusion that you need both in order for you business to be successful. Just like buying a car. The science part would be how well it handles on the road, how safe it is if ever in an accident, and how many miles per gallon will you get. The art part of it would be, How flashy is the color, how fast will it go, or does it have leather interior and chrome rims. The science part of your internet marketing business would be breaking it down into parts. Products, promoting, pricing, and placing. The products have to be put together, the pricing has to be figured out just right to make a good return on your investment.
